AH0410 - Written Procedures: Scope
of the written procedures
The written procedures should
- cover the initial processing of appeals
and postponement applications (see AH0415)
- give guidance as to when a late appeal may
be accepted (see AH0420)
- say which appeals must be referred to a
senior officer in all cases, for example appeals to the Special
Commissioners
- specify the person or jobholder who should
do each task
- nominate a deputy or deputies
- set out the criteria and arrangements for
referring appeals to the Appeals Unit
- include any hearing date calendar or
timetable.
