This provides for the agreement of documents between the parties
and defines what such an agreement might mean. Put simply, if it is
agreed that a document is put in, unless it is agreed otherwise,
the parties accept that the document was written and signed or
executed by the person who claimed it to be signed or executed by
and on the date. Also, if it is a photocopy, it is assumed to be a
correct and accurate photocopy. However, the truth and contents of
the document are not necessarily accepted by either party.
This is an extremely useful Regulation because it enables
parties to put in a single Bundle of Documents without either side
necessarily accepting the truth of the allegations made
therein.
