The Crown is not bound by an Act of Parliament unless the
terms of that Act specifically include it. This means that the
Crown is exempt from charge to tax except where the terms of an Act
impose liability on the Crown. If you get a claim to Crown
exemption send it to Public Departments, (Crown Section), Wales -
Group C.
