IHTM38052 - Debt Management Case Plan: dealing with subsequent referrals

A new Case Plan should be created for any subsequent referrals to Debt Management & Banking (DMB) in respect of the same chargeable event.

If, as the DMB caseworker, you receive a subsequent referral, you should consider whether there are debts which need to be linked or merged. You should also have regard to previous action in developing a strategy for the future conduct of the case.
