There are twelve pages in the Case Plan - clicking on the row of
tabs will display the pages individually. To enter data simply
click on the box you want to change and type something in. If the
database thinks there is something wrong with what you type, it
will tell you (for instance it will not let you enter a date that
does not exist, like 29/2/2001).
Pressing the tab key on your keyboard will also select the
boxes on each page in order.
The description next to each box to fill should be
self-explanatory. If you hold your mouse pointer over any that are
not, additional help will be displayed.
There are some things to note about two of the boxes:
File Reference - this will not accept a file
reference that already exists in the database. This is obviously a
safeguard to avoid duplicating records. If you get a message saying
you have typed in a file reference that already exists the database
will not save this new record. You can then find the original
record and amend it by adding more Case Plans to it.
BU date - this is the only place that review dates
are printed from on a daily basis. If you want to see the case
again, you must enter a date here. There is no three-week limit as
on ALF (
IHTM03290), but you cannot set a BU
date more than a year in advance.
