IHTM32081 - Cases: introduction

There have been a number of changes to how progress reviews on cases have been handled in recent years. Between 1 February 1999 and 1 April 2002 both PC&S and Compliance Group) cases were reviewed in accordance with the rules that now apply to Compliance Group cases. These rules will continue to apply to all cases opened in this period, as well as to any cases opened at a later date that are dealt with in Compliance Group.

For PC&S cases opened after 1 April 2002 new rules (IHTM32091) will apply.

There are separate rules for pre-February 1999 files (IHTM32105) and all enquiries (IHTM32051), including those opened between 1 February 1999 and 1 April 2002 in PC&S.
