Once you have raised ( IHTM31181) all your assessments on the death estate or lifetime transfer, the Issue/Withdraw assessments window will appear, showing a table of the assessments raised during that session – their status is shown as “raised”.
If you want to keep an assessment, highlight it and click on the Issue button.
Withdraw any unwanted assessments by clicking the Withdraw button – COMPASS will not save the assessment or print it.
Already issued assessments
If there is an earlier issued assessment for an assessment group which has not been paid, COMPASS will inform you that the previous assessment will be withdrawn automatically if the assessment you are now raising is issued. Click on OK to confirm that the earlier assessment should be withdrawn.
If you wish to cancel all the assessments you raised in the session, click on the Cancel button at the foot of the screen.
Otherwise click on the OK button.
