If you work in Compliance or Litigation you will use ERS (
IHTM29100) to record any yield that you
get on death cases as a result of your work. You will also need to
record any interest yield (
IHTM29090). You should have registered
your case as an enquiry (
IHTM29105) on ERS when it was first
referred to you. You should use ERS to record the adjustments to
yield (
IHTM29070) and adjustments to interest
yield (
IHTM29090) and ignore the parts of the
system that relate to quality scoring.
The enquiry procedures were introduced in 1999. If your case
was opened before 1999 you will not be able to create an ERS record
for it. Instead you will need to use Unit 3 (
IHTM29102) to record the information
and send this to the Product and Process Team.
If you work in Compliance or Litigation you should use ERSA ( IHTM29101) to record any amendments to yield and interest yield that you need to make on lifetime cases
