IHTM23142 - What to do on receipt of the VOA's final report: procedure on receipt of the report

Upon receipt of the VOA's ( IHTM23002) report you will need to consider what course of action to take but first you must update the file as follows

• note, in pencil, the outcome of the VOA report in the IHT400 ( IHTM10021) where the original value returned is included, for example VOA's agreed increase
• note, in ink, any increase or decrease in value in the adjustments box on the enquiry plan ( IHTM29042)
• update the record boxes on the front of the VOA 6 ( IHTM23063) where this has been used

Once you have updated the file, the VOA report can be filed on the main tag or in the VOA 6 and you can decide what action to take. This will depend on the nature ( IHTM23143) of the report.
