With the exception of the initial VOA 1 and VOA 2 (
IHTM23041) referral, all written IHT
communication with the VOA (
IHTM23002) and the VOA’s
responses should be by e-mail. This will either be by a direct
e-mail message or by e-mail with document attached.
There will, of course, be occasions when e-mail will be
neither appropriate nor practical, such as when there are
attachments like plans or lease documents to refer to the VOA. In
these circumstances, the normal arrangements for sending documents
should continue to be used.
All e-mails sent to, or received from, the VOA should be
printed off for the file.
