On issue of VOA 1 or VOA 2 (
IHTM23041), or an informal referral (
IHTM23060), you should enter a review
date of 30 working days on the file to allow the VOA (
IHTM23002) to complete and return the
acknowledgement slip (
IHTM23072), or reply. The VOA’s
own time limits give the VOA 20 working days to do this, so the 30
working day review date should give sufficient time for the form to
reach the VOA, be considered and then the slip returned to us.
If the slip is not returned within the time limit you should
refer the case to Our Valuation Office Liaison Registry, to follow
up the matter with the relevant VOA Unit administrative team
If the slip is returned and the VOA indicates that the value
returned cannot be accepted you should mark your file with a review
date 70 working days (3½ months) after the date the VOA 1 or
VOA 2 was issued to await the 3 month report (
IHTM23087).
For informal referrals (
IHTM23060), the review date should be
50 working days.
