IHTM09263 - Risk, Research and Liaison Team (RRLT): standard research

Standard research consists of searches of

• TPI Datamart ( IHTM09281)
• SA View ( IHTM09282)

This research is intended to help risk assessors and Compliance Group caseworkers with new enquiries and is the minimum research that will be undertaken in all Compliance Group cases.

You should not need to request standard research to be done because it will be undertaken automatically on Compliance Group cases before the case is sent to the Compliance Group dividers. RRLT ( IHTM09261) will attach copies of any information found; they will also provide an analysis of what they find on form SIP2

If, exceptionally, standard research has not been done before you receive a new case you should request it using

• form RISK 1 (for IHT Belfast cases)
• form RISK 2 (for IHT Nottingham cases), or
• by sending a request to DMB in IHT Edinburgh (IHT Edinburgh cases only).
