Where the estate includes quoted shares their value will have been checked ( IHTM07064) before you receive the file. Where the values are incorrect they will have been amended in green ink (in Edinburgh this will be done in pencil and will be flagged up on the form 80C). You will need to reflect the revised values in the account details and notify the taxpayer ( IHTM08098) of the revision.
