IHTM08042 - TSB Registry: reminders
to be issued by the registry
The registry will undertake the issue of routine first
reminders on some cases. These are identified on the file cover by
the BU notations (
IHTM03033) used, either
“C”, “P”, or “VO ack”. Where
the registry does not issue these first reminders the work will be
undertaken by the caseworkers in TSB.
C – Correspondence reminder – Nottingham and
Belfast
- Check inside the file for the last
correspondence and then complete and issue the appropriate standard
letter using MS Word.
- On ALF (
IHTM03291), delete the review date
shown and add a further review date 1 month ahead.
- On the file cover delete the existing BU
date and enter a new BU date 1 month ahead, followed by the
notation “TC” to denote the next action is for the
caseworker to remind for a response.
P – Payment reminder – Nottingham, Belfast and
Edinburgh
- In COMPASS (
IHTM31101) select any reminders that
are required for this case.
- Use the “Print Reminder” to
produce the relevant letter
- On ALF, delete the review date shown and
add a further review date 1 month ahead.
- On the file cover delete the existing BU
date and enter a new BU date 1 month ahead, followed by the
notation “PDMB” to denote the next action is for DMB to
remind for a response.
VO ack (or DV ack) – Valuation Office reminder –
Nottingham and Belfast
- Send the file to the Registry manager, who
will then send the file on to obtain details of the relevant
Valuation Office (
IHTM23002) and reference number.
- When the file returns to the registry you
should complete and issue form VOA 4.
- On ALF, delete the review date shown and
add a further review date 1 month ahead.
- On the file cover delete the existing BU
date and enter a new BU date 1 month ahead, followed by the
notation “TVO” to denote the next action is for the
caseworker to remind for a response.
