IHTM02182 - Communications: General enquiries: members of the public attending without notice

Members of the public attending the office without previous notice are received by Helpline.

The Helpline staff will

• answer their questions, if of a general nature, or
• obtain the file, where necessary, or
• ask the caseworker dealing with the file to give an interview ( IHTM02230), where practicable.
