The Probate and Inheritance Tax Helpline provides a telephone enquiry service for both members of the public and the professions. They also deal with personal enquiries. Both general and specific enquiries are handled. But when the matter relates to a working case or enquiry the caller will be referred to the caseworker involved. Complex or unusual matters may be referred to Technical Group (TG) ( IHTM01081).
