IR35: Contract - Question 7

What happens if I disagree with HMRC's opinion?

If you disagree with the Inspector's opinion you should tell him or her why you think it is wrong and provide any further information and/or documentation which you think is relevant. The Inspector will review the facts and advise you accordingly.

If you are unable to reach an agreement you may ask for a formal decision to be made to which you have the right of appeal to the independent Tax Appeal Commissioners.
