lca72/s19.- Land Charge Act 1972 Section 19 Short title, commencement and extent.

19. - (1) This Act may be cited as the Land Charges Act 1972.

(2) This Act shall come into force on such day as the Lord Chancellor may by order made by statutory instrument appoint ² ; and different days may be so appointed for different purposes.

(3) This Act extends to England and Wales only.

2 By an Order (S.I. 1972 No. 2058) made by the Lord Chancellor, the whole Act came into force on 29 January 1973.
