Bank Giro
If your bank (or building society) offers this service, take your payslip with payment to your own bank branch. Other banks may refuse to accept it or charge you for this service. In particular cheques should be taken to the bank/building society that they are drawn on. Any cheque must be made payable to ‘HM Revenue & Customs Only’. Some building societies do not accept bank giro payments.
You can pay by cheque or cash.
However to allow for possible delays in bank processing (for which we are
not responsible) we advise you not to leave payment until the last day. We
advise you to allow at least 3 working days for it to reach us.
