Payment of Inheritance Tax

Before you make the first payment of Inheritance Tax you must obtain an Inheritance Tax reference and payslip.

We accept payment by a range of methods but recommend payment is made electronically. Electronic payments are generally more efficient and secure than payment by post.

You can pay by BACS Direct Credit, internet or telephone banking, CHAPS or by Bank Giro.

If you are sending payment direct to us please post your payment with a completed IHT payslip (PS1 IHT). Address the envelope to ‘Section K’ at our Nottingham office.
