Paying Stamp Duty by Debit Card over the Internet
The minimum payment you can make is £0.01 and the maximum is £99,999.99.
To make payment you need your:
- Debit card details
- 11-character reference as shown on your payslip or generated automatically, for example 123000678MG
You can view an example of a payslip (PDF 89K) to see where the reference is printed.
Note: Customers paying Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) should
not register but instead use the one-off payment option ‘Pay
Now’.
