The office as situated on a business park which is only four years old and lot of development is still ongoing. The site is located in Balliol Business Park East. This is a ten-minute walk from the major bus/metro interchange at Four Lane Ends.
A shuttle bus runs every 15-20 minutes from the interchange to the office.
The business park is currently undertaking a review of the shuttle bus and making changes to times to co-ordinate with shift patterns.
There is a cycle-to-work scheme in operation and bikes (including trials of electrical bikes) can be loaned.
A small shopping centre is due to open in the business park during summer 2009.
Staff here have access to facilities at Longbenton.
There are kitchens and vending machines on site along with a morning sandwich service. The sports and social club is very active, and run a number of events including fund raising activities to designated charities.
