Paying Tax and NICs in euro

Since 1 January 1999 we have accepted tax and National Insurance payments in euro for the following payment methods:

  • Bacs Direct Credit, Internet or Telephone banking
  • CHAPS
  • Euro denominated cheque
  • Euro notes (HMRC offices at Ports and Airports only)
