3.8 Using PAYE Online for Employers – Internet
If you have fewer than 50 employees, you can file your Employer Annual Return or send and receive in-year forms online over the Internet using our free Online Return and Forms - PAYE product or other payroll software.
You will need to make sure that the computer software you use can send your information electronically and that it meets our Quality Standard. Also, that it allows you to send a Return in parts, if you decide to file this way.
To use the Internet, you must first register and activate our PAYE Online for Employers – Internet service before you can send us anything online. When you register, you will need to enter in full your Accounts Office reference number which you will find on your payslip booklet (P30BC). If you do not have a payslip booklet, enter the reference you use when making a payment. You will also need your PAYE reference. If you get an error message, try again and leave out the zeros after the two letters of your Accounts Office reference.
If you have already registered to send your Employer Annual Return online, you do not need to register again to send in-year information to us online.
