1.1 What does ‘online filing’ mean?

Online filing of PAYE forms means sending your PAYE annual Return and in-year forms relating to change of employment to us electronically, direct to our computer, cutting out paper. There are also lots of other PAYE forms you can send online, for example benefits in kind information.

This guide covers only PAYE, but you can also send us Corporation Tax, Self Assessment and VAT information online.
