Current updates 2009 - June
We apologise that some errors have been identified in the updated edition of the CD-ROM recently issued. The faults are listed below.
We hope to provide a downloadable file to correct these faults on this site by July 24.
Net Pay Estimator - the results from the Net Pay Estimator on the updated edition of the CD-ROM are incorrect. The estimated net pay shown only includes the deduction for tax and not National Insurance. You can use the National Insurance Contributions Calculator on the CD-ROM to work out the National Insurance due.
SSP and SSP2 Calculator - on a small number of occasions the results on these two calculators are incorrect. To ensure you are paying the correct amount of SSP to your employees please use the calculator on the HMRC Internet site. Select SSP Calculator
P11D working sheet 2 - if you use this working sheet to calculate the car benefit on cars with a list price of more than £80.000 the taxable amount of car benefit is incorrect. The car benefit calculator on the CD-ROM is correct.
We have identified some frequently asked questions which may help you if you are having difficulties using the CD-ROM.
