Changes to the Employer Payslip Booklet and Payslip

We have changed the design of the 2008-09 tax year Employer Payslips by removing the net Tax and NICs boxes. It is a small change but will mean it is easier to complete and there will be less chance of making arithmetical errors.

You now only need to show the total amount being paid, and we will estimate the PAYE/NIC split and adjust it when the End of Year Return is processed.

We have also made some other small changes to make the booklet easier to use including adding more explanations where we think you will benefit from the information.

Please note, we accept payment by a range of methods but we recommend electronic payment. Electronic payments are generally more efficient, more secure and cheaper than payments by post.
