UK communications
To ensure that you are kept informed on developments of Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS) we will provide updates via our website and through newsletters/leaflets.
We have started to deliver a series of overview presentations to various trade associations to advise on EMCS project developments and explain the basic functionality. Plans are also in place to continue to meet with all trade associations over the coming months.
We will be running a series of workshops in early 2008 to look at the new online channel and the electronic data interchange channel using XML. These workshops will give excise businesses, the opportunity to influence and shape the development of these options.
