Accessibility
Every effort has been made to ensure Tax Matters is accessible and easy to use for everyone. To deliver high levels of interaction, the Tax Matters website uses Adobe Flash. Flash is a commonly used way of adding animations and interactivity to websites.
The Flash version of Tax Matters takes into account users who are blind or visually impaired, and is fully compatible with recent versions of screen reading software. Text is set at a reasonable size and maintains a high level of colour contrast throughout the site. HMRC considers it a priority that these activities conform to the highest possible levels of accessibility without compromising the overall user experience.
There is also a HTML version for those unable to use Flash.
