The Child Trust Fund

Child Trust Fund (CTF) is a savings and investment account for children. Any of your pupils born on or after 1 September 2002 should have received a £250 voucher to start their account. The account belongs to the child and can't be touched until they are 18, so they have some money behind them to start their adult life.

You may find it useful to include parents in your teaching and outreach work about the Child Trust Fund. There is also a helpful CTF calculator that can be used in the classroom.
