Statutory Payments – Information on impending changes
This information will be of use to both Software Developers and Employers
You can now access below detailed background material, Question and Answer briefs, guidance on record keeping requirements, examples of the impact of the changes being introduced as a result of the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations which become effective from 1 October 2006 and the changes to Statutory Payments legislation which becomes effective from 1 April 2007.
It is important to note that for Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Adoption Pay some individuals may be affected by the changes earlier than 1 April 2007 if they are expecting their babies to be born, or the children they are to adopt, to be placed, on or after 1 April 2007
