Make a payment

We accept payment by a range of methods but recommend paying electronically, as it is safe, secure and very efficient.

We accept payment by a range of methods:

  • Internet banking
  • Telephone banking
  • Bankers Automated Clearing System (BACS) direct credit
  • Direct Debit (VAT and Excise only)
  • Clearing House Automated Payments System (CHAPS)
  • Paymaster (if you have an account with the Paymaster General)

Alternatively, you can pay by Debit Card over the Internet by using BillPay's online payment service.

You can sign up to BillPay by following this simple process.

  1. Enter some payment details such as your Accounts Office reference number, name and Debit Card details.

  2. Confirm those details.

  3. Keep the payment reference number for future use.
