What do I have to do?
Before you start, make sure that you have:
- your VAT Registration certificate (VAT 4)
- a copy of the last VAT Return submitted
Go to www.hmrc.gov.uk and from the left hand ‘do it online‘ section, select ‘VAT Online Services’.
- First time users without a Digital certificate should select ‘new users’
- Digital Certificate users should select ‘Digital Certificate user’.
