VAT – Submit a VAT Return – Providing VAT information

It is a condition of submitting your VAT Return online that you pay electronically. Acceptable payment methods are *Direct Debit, BACS Direct Credit - Internet banking, -Telephone banking, CHAPS and Bank Giro

Many businesses have already discovered the benefits of completing their VAT Return online. For example:

  • it is convenient and secure
  • you get an instant acknowledgement of receipt
  • there are automatic calculations and built in checks
  • you may get up to seven extra calendar days to submit your VAT Return and pay
  • subscribers to our *Direct Debit facility get an additional three working days before we collect payment.

* The extension and online Direct Debit service are not available if you use the Annual Accounting Scheme or have to make payments on account and submit quarterly returns.
