Report of receipt - At a glance

If you haven't yet enrolled and activated EMCS you’ll need to do so, find out how to do this by following the Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS) link. If you’ve already enrolled, you can use the EMCS service to send a report of receipt of a movement online. To do this go to the 'Welcome' page and enter your User ID and password. Then click the 'Login' button to get to 'Your HMRC services' page. In the ‘Services you can use’ section you will see 'Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS)'. Follow the 'Access service' link to the 'At a glance page.'

Report of receipt - to submit a report follow the 'View undischarged movements' link from the ‘At a glance’ page

  1. Follow the ‘View undischarged movements’ link in the 'View movements' section. This shows all movements where a consignor has not received a report of receipt or a consignor has not received a report.
