Imports - At a glance
If you haven't yet enrolled and activated EMCS you’ll need to do so, find out how to do this by following the Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS) link. If you’ve already enrolled, you can use the EMCS service to create an import movement online. To do this go to the 'Welcome' page and enter your User ID and password. Then click the 'Login' button to get to 'Your HMRC services' page. In the ‘Services you can use’ section you will see 'Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS)'. Follow the ‘Access service’ link to the 'At a glance page.'
