Pay your bill
Paying electronically is safer, more secure and very efficient. Your payment record is updated promptly. It gives you better control over your money and provides certainty about when your payment will reach us. All we ask is that you give us an accurate reference number.
We accept payment by a range of methods:
- Internet banking
- Telephone banking
- Bankers Automated Clearing System (BACS) direct credit
- Direct Debit (VAT and Excise only)
- Clearing House Automated Payments System (CHAPS)
Alternatively, you can use BillPay and pay by debit card over the Internet (Self Assessment, PAYE Stamp Duty, Pension scheme and other miscellaneous payments only).
If you select 'Sign up for BillPay' from the menu, you will be asked to:
- provide information about you/your business
- choose a password
- choose the relevant bill to pay
- input your BillPay User number
