Confirmation of enrolment
You'll now see a 'Registration and Enrolment summary' page confirming that you have successfully enrolled for VAT Online. You have now finished enrolling for this service.
HMRC will also send you an Activation Code (PIN). This is mailed to your principal place of business. Please allow seven to ten days to receive the code.
You don't need the Activation Code to submit VAT Returns - this service will be activated automatically. But you will need the Activation Code if you want to notify us of any changes to your VAT registration details online. You must activate the service within 28 days of the date shown on the letter or the code will expire and you'll have to request a new one online.
