The ‘Submission successful’ page will display a unique submission receipt reference number.
This page explains the importance of saving this ‘Submission successful’ receipt as evidence you’ve successfully submitted your client’s Company Tax Return to HMRC.
This page also contains links that allow you to save and print a copy of your client's return.
If your submission is unsuccessful a list of errors will be presented and you’ll be able to go back into their return to check it and make the necessary changes to correct it.
If you discover you have made an error on a Company Tax Return that you have already filed with HMRC, you can amend it. The HMRC online software allows up to twelve separate amendments. You can find information about amending returns and the time limit for doing so, at our How to change a Company Tax Return you've already filed page.
