Submit a VAT Return for your client
It is a condition of submitting your client’s VAT Return online that you/they pay electronically. Acceptable payment methods are Direct Debit, BACS Direct Credit, Internet banking, Telephone banking, CHAPS and Bank Giro.

Go to www.online.hmrc.gov.uk/registration and login with your User ID and password
- The ‘Your HMRC services’ page lets you access the VAT Online service. Select ‘VAT for Agents’ and click on the ‘Access service’ link.
- The ‘At a glance’ page lets you search for the authorised client(s) for whom you want to submit the VAT Return online.
