    These notes provide general guidance for providers on how to operate the CTF scheme. Future amendments to the guidance will be notified in CTF Bulletins.

The FSA response to the consultation on the sales regime for the CTF can be found on the FSA website.

The new rules will require firms offering the CTF to be authorised, have in place adequate systems and resources, and to adopt appropriate levels of consumer protection. The new rules came into effect on 1 December 2004.
