The JVCC was established in 1990 with the aim of bringing together Customs and representative trade and professional organisations. Designed to be a platform for all parties to exchange views and discuss the operation of VAT policy and law, it also presents an opportunity for feedback on proposed changes in the department.
There are usually four scheduled meetings per year, chaired by the Director, CT & VAT.
