The Real Time Information (RTI) Customer User Group is a consultative forum of external stakeholders representing a range of organisations including employers of different sizes and complexity, software providers, agents and payroll professionals.
The group is chaired by Stephen Banyard, HMRC Director General and Senior Responsible Officer for the RTI Programme. The group meets monthly with members of the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) RTI Programme and, on occasion, with other invited speakers.
The purpose of the group is to allow strategic engagement between the RTI Programme and stakeholders, for HMRC to consult representatives of the range of customer groups impacted by RTI, review and comment on proposed HMRC communications and for the representatives to constructively challenge HMRC assumptions.
