I think I have paid too much NI, how do I claim a refund?

If you think you have paid too much NI in a tax year you need to complete the mariner questionnaire (PDF 17K) for each voyage. You can only do this after the tax year has ended. You may also need to send us a copy of your P60, or other proof than you have paid NI.

When we receive the completed questionnaire we can advise you whether you are due a refund.
