Below is a list of possible changes you can tell us about. Please select the change that applies to you. If you wish to report more than one change a separate transaction is needed for each one. If the change is not listed, please select - Other changes I want to tell you about that affect my Child Benefit.
It is very important that you have all the information we need before you start to complete your message, as you cannot save the details once you have started and return to it at a later date.
By emailing us from the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) site your email is more secure, but our reply to you is not. This means that our email reply will not contain confidential information. If we need to, we will email you to explain that we will be replying fully by letter or phone.
- I want to change the account my Child Benefit is paid into
- I have changed my address
- I have married, formed a civil partnership, or started to live with someone as if I were married or as a civil partner
- I have changed my name legally, or I am known by my new name
- My child has decided to continue in full-time further education or approved training
- My child has left full-time further education or approved training
My child has:
- Started working 24 hours or more a week for which they are paid or expect to be paid and is no longer in full-time further education or approved training
- Started training which is not approved, or is paid for by an employer
- Started to receive – Income Support or income-based Jobseekers Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, or tax credits in their own right
