Payroll Giving - Professional Fundraising Organisations (PFOs)
Promotion is very important for any organisation - many charities recognise the benefits of employing the services of a Payroll Giving PFO to promote their cause and recruit new donors. A PFO is a commercial organisation, in some cases owned by charities, that promotes Payroll Giving for various charities; they are paid a fee by the charities if support is generated. A professional fundraiser can work with your organisation on all aspects of running a workplace campaign to your employees. They are also associated with the Institute of Fundraising (IoF), unless indicated otherwise, and are bound by the Institute's code of practice. Founded in 1995, Hands On Helping Charity (HOHC) is one of the UK's oldest leading fundraising organisations promoting Payroll Giving in the workplace.
In 2007 they were the first Professional Fundraising Organisation to win Best Promotional Partnership, with Marshalls PLC, at the National Payroll Giving Awards.
To date they have raised over £12million for local and national charities, and have worked with many different companies, such as Debenhams, HFC Bank, Morrisons, Marshalls Plc, Home Retail Group and leading IT companies. Covering the whole of the UK, HOHC are small enough to care but large enough to deliver a tailor-made campaign for any company's requirements.
