Altering text size in Windows
95, 98, 2000, Me
If you are having difficulties seeing web pages on-screen, making the text
larger could improve your experience.
- Click 'Start' or press the 'Windows' logo key or press 'Ctrl' + 'Esc'.
- Hover over 'Settings' or press 'S'.
- Click 'Control Panel' or press 'C'.
- Double click on 'Display' or press 'D' until 'Display' is highlighted,
then press 'Enter'.
- Click the 'Settings' tab or press 'Ctrl' + 'Tab' until it is at the
front.
- Click and drag the slider underneath the 'Desktop area', or press 'Alt'
+ 'D', and use the arrow keys to adjust the screen resolutions settings
and press 'Enter'.
To enlarge text size with your mouse
- Hold down the 'Control' key while turning the mousewheel away from
you.
To reduce text size with your mouse
- Hold down the 'Control' key while turning the mousewheel towards you.
