Altering the speed of your mouse in Mac OS X

If you are having difficulties with the speed of your mouse, you can reduce its speed.

1. Press 'Ctrl' + 'F2'.
2. Click 'System Preferences' or press the down arrow key to highlight it and press 'Enter'.
3. Click 'Keyboard & Mouse' or press 'Tab' until 'Keyboard & Mouse' is highlighted and press 'Spacebar'.
4. Click 'Mouse' tab or press 'Ctrl' + 'F7' to highlight one of the four tabs and use the arrow keys to select the 'Mouse' tab.
5. Click and drag the 'Tracking Speed' slider a comfortable mouse speed, or press 'Tab' and use the arrow keys to select your speed.
6. Click 'Close' or press 'Apple' + 'W'.
