Keyboard shortcuts in Mac OS X

If you are having difficulties seeing or reading on-screen fonts (e.g. Tahoma or Monotype Corsiva), you may wish to alter the fonts displayed.

Here are some of the most commonly used keyboard shortcuts.

  1. Undo the last action by pressing 'Apple' + 'Z'.
  2. Switch between current running programs by pressing 'Apple' + 'Tab'.
  3. Select the next icon or file alphabetically on the desktop or in a folder by pressing 'Tab'.
  4. Open a highlighted folder, document or application icon by pressing 'Apple' + 'O'.
  5. Close the current window by pressing 'Apple' + 'W'.
  6. Copy selected text\graphics to the clipboard by pressing 'Apple' + 'C'.
  7. Paste text\graphics from the clipboard by pressing 'Apple' + 'V'.
  8. Cut selected text\graphics to the clipboard by pressing 'Apple' + 'X'.
