Altering your fonts in Opera
for OS X
If you are having difficulties seeing or reading on-screen fonts (e.g.
Tahoma or Monotype Corsiva), you may wish to alter the fonts displayed.
- Click 'Opera' and click 'Preferences' or press 'Apple' + ','.
- Click 'Web pages' tab or press 'Alt' + 'Tab' until the 'Web pages'
tab is selected.
- Click on the large button next to 'Normal font' or press 'Tab' until
the button is selected and press 'Spacebar'.
- This brings up the 'Select font' window.
- Click the font you want or press 'Tab' until the 'Font' box is highlighted
and use the arrow keys to select your font.
- Click 'OK' or press 'Enter'.
- Click 'Advanced' tab or press 'Alt' + 'Tab' to highlight it.
- Click 'Content' or use the arrow keys to select it.
- Click 'Style options' or press 'Tab' until it is highlighted and press
'Spacebar'.
- Select the ‘presentation modes’ tab by clicking on it or
pressing ‘Alt’ + ‘Tab’.
- Repeat step 1-10 for the 'Page fonts and colors' checkboxes to turn
them off.
- Check 'My fonts and colours' under the 'Author mode' and 'User mode'
options.
- Click 'OK' or press 'Enter'.
